Patrick E. Murphy

Patrick E. Murphy's practice is dedicated to corporate/business transactions and commercial real estate. A 10 year attorney, his focus in corporate/business matters includes corporate entity formations/restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, development and capitalization of private placements/syndications for start up and ongoing businesses, and the preparation and negotiation of all types of commercial contracts and agreements for clients in their businesses. In his real estate practice, Mr. Murphy has extensive experience in the development, acquisition, financing, leasing and disposition of all types of commercial real estate. Patrick has represented clients ranging from IT, and oil and gas conglomerates to commercial manufacturing, entertainment and nightclubs. In addition, Mr. Murphy serves as General Counsel and sits on the board of directors for several Houston based companies. Recently,  Mr. Murphy was named as a Texas Super Lawyer "Rising Star" for 2011.

Thomas F Vicker IV

Tom Vickers brings specialization in Probate law, Guardianship law and Estate Planning, as well as extensive experience in Contract and Entertainment law, Real Estate and Business Formation, non-profit formation and mediation services to the firm. Licensed for over 6 years, Tom is certified as an Attorney/Guardian Ad Litem and has extensive experience in guardianship cases. Tom is also a certified mediator and works with the Bexar County Resolution Center as both a mediator and class proctor. Tom is an expert negotiator and is often able to find solutions to problems and situations where none seem to exist. Before joining Murphy & Vickers as a firm partner, Tom Vickers worked for the Harris County Probate Court, where he learned the inner workings of Texas probate law and litigation. Mr. Vickers also served at the Center for Conflict Resolution with the Honorable Frank Evans, who is widely known as the father of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in Texas.
